Drunken Master streaming

The last time I saw this movie was over 10 years ago when I was still in tae kwon do. Back then I would go to Blockbuster and grab any martial arts movies I could get my hands on and sit and watch them for hours. I miss those old kung fu movies. The English dubbing was always terrible, the story was usually the same thing about how some guy disrespected some other guy but the fight scenes were sick.

One random fact which I just read on IMDB is that the main bad guy in the movie (Thunderleg) is a korean guy named Jang Lee Hwang who taught tae kwon do in the korean army. Ironically he was in a real fight with a guy, kicked him in the temple and killed him instantly. “Thunderleg” is no joke. 0.0

“This Korean powerhouse actually killed a man in real life (in self-defense). It seems the man was a “knife expert” who claimed that the knife is superior to “any” form of unarmed combat. Wang disagreed with that “statement” and an argument soon followed where the “knife expert” challenged Wang to “prove” his point to which Wang declined, went to turn his back when the guy lunged at him. Wang turned and fired a “round-kick” hitting the guy “square” in the temple, killing him instantly.”

The movie is hosted on Hulu. Not sure how long it will be up but it’s the complete movie for anyone who wants to check it out.
