So a little while ago, Fareast Movement came to Seoul. For those who don’t know who FM is, they are from Los Angeles and one of the first Asian American music acts to go mainstream. You’ve probably heard this song at some point last year:

That’s Fareast Movement. It was a big show for them because 2 of the 4 members are Korean American.

I remember years ago when they were doing free shows and I’ve seen them live. Hence why I opted not to go to the show because like most foreign concerts here, the tickets were (because I’m used to seeing them in LA) overpriced.

Fortunately one of my friends who does the fan site for JK Tiger got some information on a little private concert FM was doing in Apgujeong the afternoon before the concert. There was gonna be food and it was also going to be free! Well of course I called a few people up and we went over to Apgu to check it out.

The show was held in a tiny pool/billiard place and the only other people that were there were diehard fans and FM’s crew from the States. For that reason the view was awesome. They did a handful of songs, took pictures, signed autographs and headed out for the show. I thought it was really a nice gesture for the fans and they had a stack of free Papa Johns pizza. What’s better than that?
