I have somewhat followed the release of Windows 7 mobile. Windows 6.5 was the last OS I got to play around with and I hated it but Windows mobile 7 looks very promising. Microsoft must be counting on everyone liking their new mobile OS because they’re giving a free Windows Mobile 7 phone to each of their 90,000+ employees as reported by Mashable. Hopefully by the time I return to the States, one of these will be out!

On a side note, the OS on the Samsung and LG phones in Korea are TERRIBLE. I don’t know why they just don’t put Windows Mobile on the phones here. There are a few phones I’ve seen like the “Droid Incredible” by LG (Here it has a different name but its the same phone) and everywhere else in the world including the US, it has Windows Mobile but here it uses LG’s garbage OS. Not sure why. I would have gotten a nice HTC phone here but they are surprisingly very hard to find. I’d have to assume the country stops import in these because of competition because HTC is prevalent everywhere else in the world.
